Ticket sales stop 30 minutes before the end of the opening hours. The basic ticket is only good for one admission and is valid for entry to all exhibitions – except for the coal and ore mine; it is not valid after leaving the museum.
In 2024, on the occasion of eight important days, you can visit the museum for a reduced admission fee of 80 CZK, children from 6 to 15 years old for 40 CZK.

If Monday is a state holiday the museum is open: 9:00-18:00.
Important information
Parking
There is paid parking in front of the museum building. It costs 40 CZK per hour.
Wheelchair access
There is wheelchair access to the museum for visitors with a physical disability or with a pram by using the ramp to the right of the main entrance.
Photography and filming
Both are allowed in the building, but exclusively for private purposes. It is forbidden to use tripods, selfie sticks, auxiliary lights or to restrict the movement of other visitors in any way.
How to get to the Museum
If you are travelling by public transport, get off the tram at the Letenské náměstí stop. The nearest metro connections are at the Hradčanská station on the A line or the Vltavská station on the C line. From both stations you can continue by tram to Letenské náměstí and then walk to Letenské sady.
