About National technical museum
The biggest attraction is the steam locomotives - for example, the express train “Albatros” 498.106, with a record speed of 162 km/h, the first post-war locomotive 534.0301, or the tram steam locomotive “Gartenau” manufactured in Linz in 1887. The salon car of the Ústí-Teplice railway from 1900, which comes from the Smíchov factory of F. Ringhoffer, also draws admiration, as does the salon car produced by the Kopřivnice works in 1906 for Baron Adolph Rothschild.
