Motorcycles ČZ with a Story
The new exhibition Motorcycles ČZ with a Story presents two dozen motorcycles of the ČZ brand. ČZ brand motorcycles were produced in series for 65 years.
During that time, several generations of riders have sat in their saddles, and thousands of employees have passed through the gates of the factory in Strakonice and other branch plants. The term “Čezeta” has become part of our culture. In the exhibition, we would like to present this theme from a somewhat different perspective than is usual for motorcycle exhibitions. We do not want to just showcase interesting ČZ brand machines. Many motorcycles are associated with interesting (sometimes unfortunately very sad) stories, and some of them are commemorated in this exhibition, such as the ČZ 350 type 510 from 1978, one of the interesting but series-unrealized projects of Ing. Pudil. The exhibition also commemorates one of the most significant legends of Czechoslovak motocross sport associated with ČZ motorcycles, Jiří Churavý, a native of northern Plzeň.
