The collection includes all minerals that have been mined in the territory of former Czechoslovakia throughout history, as well as ores of non-ferrous metals, variously processed types of coal, paleobotanical exhibits, etc. The collection contains hundreds of mineral samples (for example, the so-called collection of Professor Jiří Schenk includes around 1,000 pieces). There is also documentation related to the production, processing, and testing of gold and silver.
