Hoseuhold appliances

This subgroup, consisting of more than 200 cataloged items, is primarily based on the production of Elektro-Praga Hlinsko, the monopoly Czechoslovak manufacturer of most types of household electrical appliances.

In addition to examples of appliances produced between the 1950s and 1980s, the collection includes unique design proposals by the company's chief designer, Stanislav Lachman. His design work, as well as his involvement in the 1950s development company Kovotechna alongside Rudolf Vacek, Miloš Hájek, and other artists, is thoroughly documented in an extensive two-dimensional archive.

A major acquisition was the 2021 donation of a collection of over 100 products, prototypes, and design models from the former ETA company museum.
